Dr Thira Wong is known amongst her patients as the gentle dentist with a big heart and a profound love for her dogs.

She is an Australian-educated dentist who graduated from the University of Melbourne. Her daily practice focuses on restorative dentistry and emergency dental procedures. She has accumulated an extensive amount of experience working with dental trauma from her time in clinics in Melbourne as well as local hospital Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, before moving to private practice in Singapore.

Her personal ethos is that the function and appearance of teeth is closely related to the overall physical and emotional well-being of a patient, and that neither should be compromised over the other.

In her day-to-day practice, Dr Thira works on restoring broken teeth, loss of teeth and teeth damaged by trauma back to their original form and function using dental fillings, inlays and onlays, crowns and bridges.

Dr Thira also has a special interest in sports dentistry where she works on preventative care for athletes and restoring function and aesthetics for sportsmen who have sustained sports-related dental injuries – chipped, broken teeth or loss of teeth from dental trauma.
